POPULAR QUESTIONS

We specialize in nanofabrication, characterization, training, and consultation. Our services include the development of micro- and nanoscale devices, material deposition, etching, patterning, and more, using advanced equipment at the Kavli Nanolab.

You can request a service by contacting us through our website or directly scheduling a consultation. We’ll discuss your project requirements and provide a tailored solution.

We primarily use the state-of-the-art equipment available at the Kavli Nanolab. Detailed list of the equipment  are available here: https://www.tudelft.nl/tnw/over-faculteit/afdelingen/quantum-nanoscience/kavli-nanolab-delft/equipment

Yes, we provide one-on-one training programs for new users, particularly those working at the Kavli Nanolab. This includes wet-bench training and equipment mentorship to ensure you are fully prepared to work in a cleanroom environment.

Absolutely. If you have established recipes for routine tasks, we offer personnel-on-demand services to efficiently manage your tasks at an affordable rate.

We can deposit a wide range of materials, including metals (such as gold, titanium, and aluminum), dielectrics (such as SiO₂ and Si₃N₄), complex superconductors (NbTiN, MoRe) and nanomaterials (such as graphene and carbon nanotubes) using various deposition techniques like CVD, ALD, sputtering, and thermal evaporation.

Turnaround times vary depending on the complexity of the project. We aim to provide efficient services, and for certain tasks, we offer extended working hours and weekend processing to meet your deadlines.

Yes, we have experienced experts who can assist in developing new fabrication processes, optimizing existing recipes, and exploring innovative solutions to meet your research or production goals.

While we are based in Delft, we offer consultation and fabrication/characterization services to clients both locally and internationally.

We maintain strict quality control processes and use advanced characterization tools to inspect and validate all fabricated devices and structures, ensuring they meet the highest standards.

The costs for our services vary significantly depending on the complexity, scope, and size of your project. Factors such as the specific equipment used, and the time needed for processing will influence the overall cost. Additionally, there is typically an hourly fee for the usage of the cleanroom facilities, which will be included in the final pricing.
